Forum Rules

It's very important to us that this board stays clean, civil, and organized throughout the development process. In order to facilitate those goals, we've instituted a few rules. The consequences of violating any of these rules can range from a warning to a permanent ban, with the final decision being indisputable and up to the discretion of the moderator that handles the matter.

1. Language

Please do not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Sexual, racial, or ethnic slurs will not be tolerated in any form. It is recommended that profanity be held to a minimum in order to keep the level of discourse high, and profanity should not be used when addressing others. Though this is an international forum, discussion is to be held in English unless otherwise designated.

2. Images

Images of a sexual or profane nature are discouraged. Common sense should be used, please. Do not spam meme images or any other image macro. Avatar images should be static and entirely "G-rated" and family-friendly.

3. Self-Promotion and Spam

Do not create new threads promoting a product or service you have any involvement in, or paste PR materials for promotional purposes, or attempt to embed referral links in your posts to generate revenue. If an existing discussion is taking place directly involving something you are associated with, you may participate in order to answer questions, clarify details, and otherwise engage with the community, but as a person, not an advertisement.

4. Emulation/Piracy

Linking to pirate download sites, directions on how to get pirated software to work, reviews or impressions of pirated software, and livestreams of pirated software play are all strictly prohibited.

All decisions with regards to thread closure and movement, permanent and temporary bans, membership, and any other relevant issues are made by the forum administration alone and are final. That being said, constructive criticisms and suggestions are welcome, provided they are directed to administration via e-mail or private message. If you feel the need to dispute administrative policy, please contact an administrator via PM.

Although we cannot review every message posted, and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to edit or delete any message for any reason. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold the Heart Forth, Alicia development team harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

How do I get access to the private boards/groups?
On your profile page, hover over the link that says "Modify Profile", then go down and click on Group Memberships. When you are at the Group Memberships page, apply to the groups that correspond to your pledge tier. Backers that have backed at the $50 tier and higher can request access to the Private Demo group. Backers that have backed at the $150 tier and higher can request access to the Alpha Testers group. Only requests made by legitimate backers will be processed. All requests that can't be verified will be denied.

How should I contact an administrator?
Send a private message to Alonso Martin or Andrew. You can also still contact us through Kickstarter if you are a Kickstarter backer.
