Are add-on international?

There something I would like to know before answering the survey.
Should I pick the Wii U add-on, would the Wii-U key work if said person using it was in Finland?
It would be a gift for a friend.

This is still something we have to sort out with platform owners, but the game will be released on both the american and european e-shops, so there should be no problem giving this key to your friend.
